Why does "earned it" sound like crap?!

I honestly love the song earned it but with the guy who sings it in this makes me want to kill myself. I would love for it to actually sound like the actual song instead of a guy choking on a sandwich. This isnt the only song with crappy vocalists, I would really enjoy for the songs to actually sound like who they are created by, I have no problem with the piano part its just the people who sing it.
