What is going on lately?

Ive had the app for awhile now and I absolutely love it. Its fun and addicting and it satiates my need to quench my musical thirst without having to drag out my guitar, Ukelele or keyboard. However, lately its been lagging on my iPhone. Not yet been an issue on my iPad, (crosses fingers) but Im especially annoyed when it happens during a daily challenge. Also, while Im grateful that we can get free Smoola by watching the video ads, lately, depending on the ad, itll completely freeze the app. I was considering becoming a "VIP" as I just quit an "elite" membership in a different game so I could afford to spend it o this app, but now with the technical issues, Im hesitant in wasting my money. Please fix this issue and I would give you guys 5 stars. Thanks!
