I kind of like this game but I don’t know why do I have to start all over again

First off, I love this game and I’ve been playing it for years. However, as of late I’ve noticed a few things. 1. The ads that give you Smoola don’t work. I have an iPhone 15, and the end of every ad always ends up in a corner where I can’t close it out, thus causing me to lose the Smoola. 2. The songs you win from the daily challenge don’t stay in your library. This could just be a bug because I don’t have an account, but I loose access to all of the songs I’ve won from the daily challenges, and get a message saying that I need to pay for them or pay for a VIP membership despite the fact that they are sorted into the ‘My Songs’ category. 3. This one could just be a bug, but I’ve missed the last five level up rewards because I’ve been ‘offline’. I disconnected from the WiFi and restarted my phone, but nothing seemed to work. Our internet was fully online, and our WiFi was functioning properly. I got this app on my phone on April 6, 2025. After a week, these issues started to occur. For reference, it is May 11, 2025. Three consecutive weeks with the same issues. Otherwise, Magic Piano is phenomenal.

I love the game, although I’ve noticed a bug with the “Get Smoola” in the ad section whenever I click on this at the end of the ad, the screen glitches to the side meaning I can’t exit out of the ad and I can’t get the Smoola it might be a personal issue with my phone, but I just wanted to point this out

I have been playing this game for a little over a year now and have been enjoying it very much. I also like writing and composing music. On Magic Piano, the composing area is a bit difficult for me. Is it ok if the developers could add a a music staff, one with the treble clef and one with the bass clef, instead of it being a whole grid? That would really make it easier for me to create songs on there. Other than that, am very much enjoying this game. Thanks!

I keep trying to use the app but when I try to enter it keeps kicking me out like I just did the tutorial someone explain why😭🙏

I love this game so much. BUT, there’s one problem I’ve been struggling with. When I play a song, sometimes a note in the song I play sounds louder than usual. I don’t know how to add that loud sound in the composer. I’ve tried EVERYTHING but nothing helped. Pleeeeeaasse help!😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Also not enough keys. A piano has 88 keys but this one only has like 73 or something. A lot of songs I’ve been putting in the composer in smule piano like Moonlight Sonata and Fur Elise and Rage Over a Lost Penny have piano notes below C2. The piano in the composer needs to start on the very very low A not C it’s just absurd because a piano is supposed to have 88 of its keys😭😭😭 And also the Fur Elise song that the creators of the game made literally has an A below C2! How is it possible?? But also, when I looked at the song in the composer, the low A happened to be above C2. Is it some sort of trick or something? We need to have more keys it’s so so so so unfair 😭😭😭😭😭😭

One star. I used to play this many years ago. It was a fun upgrade to GH and RB, but for mobile. Time has ruined this app. The ads are insufferable. Watch an ad to play a free song. Play -30secs of the song? Well done! Here’s another ad! I’m deleting it as fast as I downloaded it. Do better.

There’s an add before and after every song. It says a song is free but then you have to watch an add to play it. 90% of the songs you have to use coins or have a subscription to play.

I love this game but too many adds, it says free and then it says play this song after an add….Instead of labeling it free they could do watch add before playing this is still one of my favorite games, also I would like more Arcadian Wild songs….. I also likewise you can play songs other player composed, overall this game is really good, four stars because of adds

I remember when this app first came out- it had a really good balance of free songs and coin songs. Now there’s 8 free. It’s turned into a total money grab. And the funny part is that even when you do pay you get ripped off. I got VIP for about two weeks- in that time I worked my way from level 7 to level 28 just by playing songs. I NEVER RECEIVED ANY OF MY LEVEL REWARDS. I’m off the subscription now and according to the level rewards I should have 525 smoola and 21 earned songs to play now that I’m off the subscription. I have nothing. I did the real work it took- hours of playing total- to get to level 28- but they took my money AND my rewards. Not very “VIP” treatment if you ask me. And I love playing the songs- if I could just play some good ones without selling my soul in money

I’ve had this app for years and it has been the best creating music creations and listening to my favorite songs on this app and making my favorite music but as you see I didn’t give it 5 stars in the music creation you can’t choose how loud the note is but otherwise don’t have any other problems pretty good

This game is pretty fun it’s just that there are many issues. First when go to watch an add to get points sometimes you may get stuck on the add, So then you have to refresh the whole app and most of the times you don’t get your 5 points. for example me I watched an add to get 25 points for q song so I watched 4 adds and realized that I didn’t get any of my points and now when I go to watch another add it wont let me get any of my points.

I think this is great, but there is one thing I don’t like. You can’t report users. I think we should be able to report users AND songs in-game. This would be a great addition!

I’ve loved playing this game and I don’t mind watching adds to be able to get more moola to unlock songs but I’ve deleted this app because whenever I try to watch and app now it opens like a second window and never lets me complete the add and exit when I’m done watching and it’s stuck seeing the actual game and an add I can never close. I tried to redownload it later but it still is doing the same thing so I’m deleting it.

So after a ad sometimes it will sound reverby and it will ruin your whole progress because IT SOUNDS BAS

Why did you change everything? Because I am not paying for premium 😭🙏 like the last time I had this everything was free now you have to pay coins? And VIP that's actually crazy because it only piano 😬 smule please put it free and maybe you can have more rate than this! Thank you if you read this

As the title says, I’ve played this for many years, I think, like, a decade. Back in December of 2022, I finally got around to trying to level up for rewards, I reached level 101 and couldn’t go further, 2 years later and the level cap is still 101, from reading other reviews, it seems that 101 has been the cap for a very long time, but the level page still acts like there’ll be new levels “”eventually””. Don’t get me wrong, this app is pretty good, but it has some issues, example: let’s say I want to get a new song, well, if I search the song (and actually find it), I only get user created versions, which are locked to 25 smoola (the app’s currency), if I don’t have 25 smoola, I either have to pay for a subscription service that has no right being so expensive, or I have to sit through ads (keep in mind that you only get 5 smoola from each ad), I’ve seen ads that are almost a minute long, and the same set of ads tends to show up repeatedly, it can take almost 5 minutes of ads to get enough smoola for one potentially poorly made song that might not even be 2 minutes long, let alone the full length of the actual song. I could make this review longer, but I think this is good enough.

I LOVE this app! I have now been using it for seven years. I am on Level 101, and have 12,158 exp invested in this level. There are apparently no other levels as of right now. I’ve had this same message on the app for the last four months and have been waiting to no avail. My only question would be as to whether the developers are genuinely working on adding more levels. I have no real complaints as of right now, I just wanted to bring this to your attention. Thank you for reading, have a wonderful rest of your day.

IN THE “MY SONGS” TAB IN THE GAME, THERES AN ODD ISSUE WHERE 5 OF “MY” 184 SONGS DISAPPEAR FROM THE TAB WHENEVER I FORCE CLOSE AND THEN REOPEN THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT’S VERY ANNOYING FOR ME TO HAVE TO PLAY THOSE FIVE SONGS IN HARD MODE TO GET THEM BACK, ESPECIALLY SINCE THREE OF THE FIVE SONGS ARE REALLY LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’M SICK AND TIRED OF HAVING TO PLAY THEESE THREE SONGS TO GET THEM BACK, AS, LIKE I’VE SAID ALREADY, THEY ARE REALLY LONG. CAN Y’ALL FIX THIS!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I’D CERTAINLY APPRECIATE IT!!!

It was a scam because I didn’t get my smule points when I leveled up

Long time user - it was great until the keys stopped tapping on the 5 notes & now it’s a struggle to even use so I stopped paying the yearly fee after 12 years. I reached out to support, zero help. It’s a shame.

Every time I open the composer tab to compose something on this app it always comes up with “Uh oh! We’re unable to load the composer at the moment.” I have Smule on several devices and this always happens on every device. I get tired of it and eventually turn the app of because i’m wanting to make some music but I can’t, because there’s always a problem!

It’s fun.

So when I try to the the free 5 smoolas the ads is in half and I can’t get out I thought it was a glitch so I refreshed but it still happened🙄

Worst company

Do you stop giving rewards after level 101? I’ve won top 500 several daily challenges but I don’t receive the points for it. How do you determine which song is the daily song? Is the daily song for every player or is there different ones?

When I try to watch ads for the free 5 coins it never gives me the coins after I finish the video this is very frustrating and disappointing the game is going to die

This game is so fun! It’s very simple and easy to learn, very educational, and shows you step by step piano lessons on this! It goes up to 1-4 finger (or five) and it’s so fun! I really recommend this game! But there are way to many adds, whenever I finish a level it goes straight to an add! If your not a add person I recommend not playing this, but it’s super fun!

The sensitivity needs work on because I can’t play any song without missing something and I know I hit all the dots

There are some issues. I understand the need to make money; however, a lot of things have become either tedious or inaccessible to people if they do not subscribe. As someone who has had this app for a very long time, it feels almost necessary to be VIP now to fully enjoy myself—which wasn’t always the case before! It should definitely be more accessible to people who just want to relax and play WITHOUT feeling pushed to pay. Now, I will say that the composing system is really good! I really like to bring over my favorite pieces of music that are not in the official songbook. If I were to suggest anything to make it better, the developers should add more octaves and more options for beats per measure. Sometimes, you either have to move up an octave when composing or can’t even compose a song at all because it’s original beats per measure isn’t an option. :( There should also be a way to change the tempo mid-song (for songs that have slow to fast bits or vice versa). Just some quality of life suggestions for thought. All-in-all, I want to like this app more but there’s definite room for improvement. I hope the developers will read the reviews and improve these things in future updates!

Whenever I go watch an ad to get free smoola it crops out the part where I can exit out of the ad so I can’t exit the ad without leaving the whole app

Whenever I get to 5 free smule coins, it would take me to an advisement that doesn’t even have a countdown. Which means I can’t get those coins.

I wanted to earn smoola (the currency you use to enable songs) by watching an ad but it didn’t work. And it also stays on the songbook page even if you click on the “X” or areow button, if you’re using an iPhone 15. I Also connected with Facebook to get smoola and it didn’t work either. This only works on my iPad Mini Max but not any of my iPhones. This will only work if you get Smule VIP. (I’m not a VIP member) Please fix this Smule!!!!!!!!!😭💸

1- rewards. If you finished an achievement (even when you’re connected to the internet) and you claim it, it doesn’t give you rewards. It’s just blank. 2: Sometimes in the composer, it freezes for a few seconds then takes you back to the start. 3: When you’re offline and you level up, it says that you will get your rewards when you’re back online. But when I go back online it does nothing. 4: Watching ads to get 5 smoola does nothing. It just keeps loading until you restart the app, but then it doesn’t give you anything. Fix these bugs I listed and I’ll be happy with this app.

I shouldn’t need a membership to play the songs in the “my song category”. Just know if you earn or get songs while on membership once it’s gone they require to have one to play those songs. I refuse to give another membership just to play some of my songs

This app was great when it was new, but now the delay makes it virtually unplayable.

Too many fingers

I like the game but come on, why do we have to buy songs with real money? I mean think about it, all we want to do is play this piano game we found and play some songs…but then we see you have to PAY TO PLAY SOME SILLY SONGS!!!!!!! PLEASE MAKE EVERYTHING FREE BECAUSE I PLAY THE SAME SONGS EVERY DAY!

This game used to be really enjoyable but the ads are out of control now. You’re better off playing something else

What’s the point of having this game if you can’t even play what you want .The piano part is fun but for God sake can you not have to pay for ever single song you wanna hear.

Ads are too much when i restart the app i dont get the xp too much ads and the song mi corazon encantado i bought with smula is not very well played plz take it back i want a different one but same song

This app is good and songs are fun to play but when I’m doing a quiz for coins then I go back to the app I still have the same amount I had before and it’s so annoying because I spent my time for no reason on doing this quiz..

Whenever i play an ad to get more smoolas the whole ad plays but when it’s time to exit out of the ad it glitches out and makes it unable to exit the ad, and when you close the tab you don’t even get the smoolas
